A continuation of my "Window" series, which uses cross-stitch techniques to pixelate the original image. The series highlights our hazy recollection of past experiences as shapes and colors.
Embroidery is created by hand, directly onto the postcard, using French cotton embroidery thread. The postcard features a wooded path by the Deplaines River.
The vintage postcard (postmarked 1909) measures 3.5"x5.5" and is unframed. The artwork will be signed and dated in pencil on the back.
Please note: As this is a vintage postcard, there is heavy wear on the edges and corners of the postcard, as depicted in the photographs.
