Memory medallion no. 03 - male portrait in copper
I discovered these vintage bezels at an antique market in Massachusetts this past summer and immediately knew they would be the perfect frames for my small stitched portraits. Their compact, tactile nature combined with the soft threads creates a beautiful contrast against the rich brass and its perfectly imperfect patina.
This black and white portrait, believed to be from the 1950s, is part of a small collection of high school yearbook photos I found at a flea market. The stitched portrait itself measures approximately 1" x 1.25", and with the bezel, the total piece measures about 1.5" x 1.75".
Each piece includes a magnet and steel tack for easy hanging on a wall, though it can also be mounted inside a more traditional frame if preferred.
Please note: The final two images show the relative size of this medallion in comparison to the others. This listing is for the male portrait in the ornate copper frame only.
