Memory medallion no. 01 - 1950s portrait in ornate brass frame
I discovered these vintage bezels at an antique market in Massachusetts this past summer and immediately recognized them as the perfect frames for my small stitched portraits. Their petite, tactile nature and the contrast between the soft embroidery threads and the warm brass with its beautifully imperfect patina make each piece truly special.
This black-and-white portrait, thought to be from the 1950s, is part of a small collection of high school yearbook photos I found at a flea market. The stitched portrait measures approximately 1" wide by 1.25" tall, and with the bezel, the overall piece measures 1.625" x 2".
These pieces can be displayed on a wall using the included magnet and steel tack, or mounted inside a traditional frame for a more classic presentation.
Please note: The final product image shows the relative size of this piece in comparison to the others. This listing is for the 1950s portrait in the ornate brass frame only.
