Rainbow ridge

A new series of work exploring the addition of color onto stark mountainsides. 

Embroidery is created by hand, directly onto the postcard, using French cotton embroidery thread and hand-dyed silk thread. 

The vintage postcard features hikers ascending Le Dolent in Western Europe. It measures about 4.75"x6.75" and is unframed. The piece will be signed and dated on the back in pencil. A certificate of authenticity is included.
