Cable Bridge, Garfield Park, Chicago

Part of my ongoing "Reflection" series, featuring strands of color to emulate reflected color and movement on water.

Embroidery is created by hand, directly onto the postcard, using French cotton embroidery thread and hand-dyed silk thread. 

The vintage postcard features a scene in Garfield Park, Chicago. It measures about 3.5"x5.5" and is unframed. The piece will be signed and dated on the back in pencil. A certficate of authenticity is included.

Please note, as this is a vintage postcard, it features wear and discoloration along the edges of the postcard as shown in the photographs.
