Quarantine Collection - Pt. 45, Daisy Stache

This collection was created as a way to remember this significant, historic time, focusing on our collective individual efforts to protect and save the lives of others. 

Embroidery is created by hand directly onto paper which has been attached to a vintage photograph using French cotton embroidery thread and hand-dyed silk thread. 

The vintage photograph is a cabinet card measuring about 4 1/4"x6 1/2" and is unframed. Colors may vary due to differing appearance on screens, but the flowers are made of bright white and sunny yellow centers on a chambray/periwinkle blue handmade paper. 

Please note that the photograph is aged, with weathered edges and speckled discoloration, as depicted in the photo. 

Piece will be signed and dated on the back.
