Red, white and blew

A continuation of the "Combustion" series, which features hundreds of french knots, layered in various sizes and colors to build dimension and movement onto vintage images.

Embroidery is created by hand, directly onto the photograph, using French cotton embroidery thread and American hand-dyed silk thread. 

The vintage postcard measures 3.5"x5.5" and is unframed.  Piece will be signed and dated on the back.
