Blue skies

In a play on subtlety, the embroidery thread colors were selected to closely match the colors of the original image, so that the texture of the thread introduces some gentle movement to the scene.

The embroidery is created directly onto the postcard using French cotton embroidery thread. The original image is the town of Stroudsburg, PA.

The vintage postcard measures 3.5"x5.5" and will arrive unframed. The artwork will be signed and dated in pencil on the back.
