Memory medallion no. 01 - 1950s portrait in ornate brass frame
I found these vintage bezels at an antique market in Massachusetts this past summer and knew they were the perfect frames for little stitched photos. I love how tiny and tactile they are and how the soft threads contrast with the beautiful brass and the perfectly imperfect patina.
This black and white portrait appears to be from the 1950s, and came from a small collection of high school yearbook photos that I found at a flea market. The stitched portrait measures about 1" wide by 1.25" tall. With the bezel, the piece measures 1.625"x2".
These pieces can be hung on a wall using the magnet and steel tack that will be provided, but they can also be mounted inside another frame for a more traditional display.
Please note: the last product image shows the relative size of this piece in comparison to the others. This listing is for the 1950s portrait in ornate brass frame only.
