In a play on subtlety, the embroidery thread colors were selected to closely match the colors of the original image, so that the texture of the thread introduces some gentle movement to the scene.

The embroidery is created directly onto the vintage postcard using French cotton embroidery thread. The original image is of Herefords in Texas.

The vintage postcard measures 3.5"x5.5" and is unframed. The artwork will be signed and dated in pencil on the back.

Please note, as this is a vintage postcard, there is noticeable wear on the edges and corners of the postcard, as well as a small blemish on the upper right hand side of the postcard, as shown in the photographs.
