I discovered these vintage bezels at an antique market in Massachusetts this past summer, and immediately knew they would be the perfect frames for small stitched portraits. I love the contrast between the soft embroidery threads and the beautiful brass, with its perfectly imperfect patina that adds character to each piece.

This particular color portrait appears to date from the 1970s-1980s and was part of a small collection of high school yearbook photos I found at a flea market. The stitched portrait measures approximately 1.5" in diameter, and with the bezel, the entire piece measures around 1.875".

The piece features a small loop for easy hanging, but it can also be mounted inside a traditional frame for display.
