Memory medallion no. 03 - male portrait in copper
I found these vintage bezels at an antique market in Massachusetts this past summer and knew they were the perfect frames for little stitched photos. I love how tiny and tactile they are and how the soft threads contrast with the beautiful brass and the perfectly imperfect patina.
This black and white portrait appears to be from the 1950s, and came from a small collection of high school yearbook photos that I found at a flea market. The stitched portrait measures about 1"x1.25"; with the bezel, the piece measures about 1.5"x1.75".
These pieces can be hung on a wall using the magnet and steel tack that will be provided, but they can also be mounted inside another frame for a more traditional display.
Please note: the last two images show the relative size of this piece in comparison to the other medallions. This listing is for the male portrait in ornate copper frame only.
